on thursday i went to the cn tower & walked around the city. i took the subway to the tower, haven't taken a subway since germany i think. i went up to the different pts in the tower & got lots of great shots. clay & i went to the world's biggest bookstore, which was a couple of blocks away, for 1 of the book signings. we then went to the hospitality suite & drank a little. i made earlier nites but clay stayed out until the wee hrs of the morn.
i'm back, safe & sound. i got in ~ 3 monday afternoon. i had a great time up in toronto. when we 1st got there, there was a problem w/check-in. my brother was using his visa check card, you know the slogan "use whereever visa is accepted." well, that's not exactly the case. his is from a local bank in VA that for some reason doesn't recognize canada. so, it took us about an hr but thanks to mom & dad for saving the day, we were able to check in. he tried the atm @ the hotel & no good. i figured that i had a local bank visa card too & my bofa card so my local card probably wouldn't work either. on our way in, we saw a bofa. we set out to find it & we could not. later i'll come to find out that we were right next to it (it was just a bofa office, no atm or tellers). we did try the rbc tho & i was able to withdraw some fundage. we walked an aweful lot that day! later on we met up some ppl & hung out in the hospitality suite.
